Free Laptops for Christmas

I read on Top Ten Broadband that an awful lot of people are taking up the iMobile broadband packages that include nothing less than a free laptop. The site reports that these packages are probably going to become the must have electronic gift for the Christmas period.

I can see why these packages are so appealing in fact; I found them so appealing I took one myself. There are several providers available for you to sign up with in order to qualify for the three laptop offer, as I have used them before and I opted for the Orange mobile broadband option.

This was back in July when apparently I was in the minority as only 4% of all mobile broadband units being sold were these free laptop deals. Last month according to the site, more than 27% of all laptop sales in the UK were linked to a free laptop deal.

The broadband connection part starts at around £25 per month, so in my opinion that makes the free laptop, genuinely free. When you sign up you walk away with the laptop and a dongle or USB modem stick and you are all set to go.

This offer seems like a sure fire winner for Christmas, I will be buying my wife one but I will be telling a just how much it cost for this lavish present.
